How to Use Podcastle's Text-to-Speech

As technology evolves, text-to-speech is gaining popularity and reaching a larger audience.Not so long ago, text-to-speech wasn't readily available, and the software that existed had many flaws.However, AI is advancing rapidly; all it takes is a few clicks and a few minutes of your time.

Step 1: Create a new project

Once you are on the computerpodcastOn the home page, tap the pink Create button in the upper-left corner of the screen, then tap Project.

Note that we are usingpodcast, so this feature is available to everyone.

Step 2: Convert Text to Speech

After selecting "Project", another menu pops up in the center of the screen with four options: select "Text-to-speech".You will be directed to a window with audio playback and a text editor.

Step 3: Type out your text

On the right side of the screen, you'll see the text editor.In the space below the title, next to the letter icon, enter the text you want to convert to audio.

Step 4: Choose a Voice Type

Click the letter icon next to your speech and you'll get a list of different names.The default speaker is Kelly, but you can change it to anyone.

If you want to hear a speaker before selecting them, hover your cursor over the letter icon and the letter will turn into a play button.Click the button to hear the person's voice, and once you're happy with the voice, click the name to choose your speaker.

Step 5: Generate your speech

Once you've written your text and selected a speaker, click "Generate" near the bottom of the text edit box and watch your text turn into audio.If you want to listen to the audio to make sure you're satisfied, you can tap the play button at the bottom center of the screen; you can also pause, rewind, or fast-forward the audio.

Step 6: Export Audio to Your Device

If you're happy with how it sounds, click "Export" in the upper-right corner of the screen to save the audio as an MP3 file.You can also enable the option to download audio-related transcripts.

Also, if you want to download the generated speech in text format, you can also click another export button (at the bottom of the screen, next to Generate) and select PDF and Docx files.
